One recommended going to www.goodhealthpublishing.com for list of national restaurants.

One recommended going to www.outback.com, www.carrabbas.com, and www.bonefishgrill.com

One recommended the following restaurants:
 - La Playa's in town has great mexican food.
- Crazy Cajun in Port Aransas has GF boiling pots
- Snoopy's - stick to grilled items and has not had problems taking with the chef there.
- Have eaten at Blackbeards and haven't had much trouble (By Aquarium).
- Downtown any of the Waterstreets and Executive Surf Club are owned by Brad Lomax. His chefs are very knowledgeable as we eat at his restaurants regularly (He also owns Luby's Cafeteria there). Just be sure to talk to the the chef/manager and not the wait staff.
- If you need food there is a Sun Harvest and the HEB on Saratoga and Everhart has a health section that has a GF section in it. There is also a frozen foods section in the store itself.
