Visitors to Brighton, UK may already know the internationally famous vegetarian restaurant, Terre à Terre in East Street in the Lanes. https://clarahost.clara.net/www.terreaterre.co.uk/_pages/01_restaurant/01_about.htm

It now has its Gluten-free options identified on the menu, with a good choice, including some puddings (vegan options also identified; some are both). Some other dishes can be adapted and the level of awareness is obviously high (eg using tamari rather than soya sauce). They're known for their imaginative and eclectic menus and the food really is fantastic - and well worth a trip for anyone, vegetarian, coeliac or not.

Brighton also has one of the popular La Tasca chain of Spanish Tapas restaurants in the UK which also lists GF options on their menu. The food has a reputation for being good value, reliable and reasonably authentic. You can see the menus with GF options on their website http://www.latasca.co.uk

I have no connection with either establishment but do believe that good restaurants that are prepared to list gluten-free food on their menus should be encouraged.

Charlotte, Oxford, UK
