 DURGIN PARK INDIAN PUDDING..

 Ingredients.
 1 cup yellow cornmeal,
 1/2 cup molasses,
 1/4 cup sugar,
 1/4 cup butter,
 1/4 tsp salt,
 1/4 tsp soda,
 2 eggs,
 6 cups hot milk,

 Preparation.
I love this traditional dessert. I serve it warm with
vanilla ice cream. Leftovers seem to go for breakfast the next
morning. Mix all of the ingredients with half of the milk, in a
saucepan. Stir and bring to a simmer. Stir in the rest of the milk
and transfer to a crock pot, or a very slow oven, for 5 to 7 hours.

It's actually good for us with the molasses in it. And boy do I miss
going to Quincy Market and getting it
