I am new to posting on this list, but have been receiving posts from a friend
for a while, I recently read one about edema being a possible symptom of CD.
I have always had slight swelling in my legs and ankles, this is accompanied
by white and purple spots on my legs.  Needless to say it is embarassing in
the summertime.  Doctors have never given me an explanation for this problem,
I was wondering if this could be from CD, and has anyone else had the same
problem??  I have been gluten free for only 2 months, so I don't expect all
my symptoms to be alleviated yet, I am just hoping that going gluten free
will get rid of this embarassing problem, replies and experiences will be
greatly appreciated.
