In the September 2003 issue of O magazine there is an article by the "Satellite Sisters" that addresses uninvited overtures and how to deal with them. The very 1st uninvited overture reads as follows: " The neighbor with the gluten-free children itching to join your mothers' group." There is no other mention in the article about gluten-free or celiac disease - just this rather tasteless off-the-cuff remark. You can write to Oprah via her website Oprah.com, and you can write to the vapid sisters via [log in to unmask] I hope that everyone will take the time to write to these ladies to express their displeasure with discriminating against children who have celiac disease.
