Thyroid labs-best time

I have had such a great response to my qestion about best time to take levoxyl and how long to wait before eating that I wanted to ask one more question and will summarize both questions together. I took Synthroid 50 mcg for 4 weeks then had to switch to levoxyl due to allergy to soy and lactose/casein. I have taken levoxyl for 2 weeks and it will be 2 more weeks of levoxyl before the thyroid labs are done. Labs ordered are TSH and thyroid function tests. Is there a prefered time to have labs drawn? Do I take the levoxyl as usual the morning of the labs? Is it okay to eat breakfast? (I had breakfast and had all the various labs done at 8AM before Hashimoto's was diagnosed.)
Thanks for your thoughts about another thyroid question. You all have been ever so helpful to me.
