Hi All,
For everyone looking for a good tomato soup, try pouring a can of
Campbell's V-8 in a mug and microwaving it until hot. All the V-8 drinks
are GF. I like to heat up the Hot & Spicy flavor. They are great on a
cold day. You can add pepper or lemon juice to jazz them up.
I keep these at my desk as a standby lunch. There is no messing with can
openers and no leftover soup to store for later. I also use them at home
as a soup base-just add any meats, tofu, beans, rice, vegetables, GF pasta,
any other leftovers, a little extra water, some spices if needed and cook
until everything is done. Make vegetable beef soup with cooked and drained
ground beef, Italian spices, and frozen mixed vegetables cooked in V-8
until hot. Or add leftover rice to V-8 for a tomato rice soup. So many
combinations...
