I might turn your logic around, Debbie, and reason that anything we do,
such as hostile non-constructive replies, that discourage list members from
asking the questions they need so badly to know is inappropriate to this
list. Which is also, if I interpret past posts from the owners, the policy
of those who run this list.

The posts I read on this list rarely ask for opinions. Mostly they ask for
reliable information. Opinions are like armpits: we all have at least one,
and they all stink :)

When I get nasty responses (one reply actually likened one of my posts to
Hitlers genocide programs :) I'm going to do everything I can to
"discourage" such a sender. And what's more, I'm gonna enjoy it :)
