My request for information about restaurants in Whistler, BC
generated two responses. I waited to Summarize until I got
back from my own visit to Whistler. Here are the responses
and my own experience.

From Kim:
We Went there this past spring, in the village is a restaurant
called Milestones - they were very helpful. One word of
caution!!! DO NOT EAT THEIR HAMBURGER PATTIES
 - THEY DO CONTAIN GLUTEN. Our waiter tore the label
off the pre-made patties and brought it to me. I ended up having
a burrito w/o the tortilla; something along those lines. On your way
up there we stopped at Panne Rizo Bakery (pannerizo.com), it's a
GF bakery and stocked up on GF foods for me. They are closed
Sundays and Mondays. If you call ahead they will have your order
packed and ready to go. They have very good muffins, chicken pot
pies, breads....

From Barbara:
We just came back from Whistler. We ate at Carumba. They have
delicious/safe soup ~ Black Bean and the soup of the day happened
to be Roasted Vegetable. Yummy! I also enjoyed the Salmon. That's
the only place we ate. Enjoy!

We were staying at The Delta Whistler Village Suites, and were offered
a continental breakfast, so we asked for gluten-free bread, and surprise,
surprise they had found it at the local Market. We dined at Milestones
where the waiter went out of his way to help, at a Chinese restaurant called
the Wok Noodle House, and two other places where the servers went back
to the kitchen to check on ingredients for us. But the real treat was stopping
off at Panne Rizo on the way back through Vancouver. Everything is gluten-
free so imagine the fun of tasting samples of cake. We were like kids in a
candy store. Well worth a visit, and they ship to the USA.
Thanks
Valerie
