I called Dannon about Activia after my celiac 8 year old daughter
got stomach aches from eating it.  They said it DID contain gluten.  When I pressed
them why it wasn't listed as an allergen, the person on the phone said their
interpretation was that they only had to list it if contained wheat and it
did not contain wheat.  I have yet to follow up to see if the FDA labeling
laws really have this loophole, but I do seem to remember there are some
issues with the labeling laws not covering all possibilities of gluten content.
Needless to say, my family will NEVER buy a Dannon product again.

If you want a yogurt alternative, Yopliat is gluten free.
