Thank you to the overwhelming number of responses I received on my question
(complaint) on the cost of shipping when ordering gluten free pastas. The
majority of people who responded seem to be able to buy, at least the
Tinkyada brand, at their local Whole Foods or health food store. Also, they
said if my Whole Foods didn't carry it, they should be able to order it for
me since they seem to carry the brand at many of their other stores.

Also, for those who do order food, the consensus was the Gluten Free Trading
Company out of Milwaukee, WI has the best shipping rates, as they charge
actual UPS and nothing more. Many people also suggested The Gluten Free
Pantry. They too carry both brands (Tinkyada and Bi-Aglut) and have
reasonable shipping. Other suggestions were Miss Robens and Kinnikinnick.
Kinnikinnick charges a flat rate of $10, which is a great deal when placing
large orders ... if only they carried those brands of pasta!

I did receive a response from Bryan Van Noy of Gluten Solutions explaining
their method of shipping fees, and although I appreciated the response, it
does seem to me and others that their shipping rates are among the highest.

I also received an interesting e-mail from one person who takes a tax
deduction on the cost of food and shipping. That's definitely something I
will be looking into considering how much more we have to spend anyway and
how limited the availability is.

I hope this helps everyone, and again thanks to all who responded. It was
great to hear from so many of you right here in the Metroplex!
