Hi Everyone,

I was trying to verify which Clinique Lipsticks were GF. I recall an email sent
previously by the Listserv that said that Clinique had GF lipsticks which would
be free from manufacturing contamination. It further said that Estee Lauder
had lipsticks with no gluten ingredients but that it could not guarantee no
manufacturing contamination.

I've searched for this email in the archives but cannot find it - perhaps I
misread it.

I talked with Clinique's head office (same company as Estee Lauder) and they
told me that they cannot guarantee no gluten contamination in any of their
Clinique nor Estee Lauder products - due to suppliers, etc...

If you call them with a specific line of lipsticks you would like them to check,
they would be happy to check the ingredients for gluten - but will give you a
statement that states that there may be trace amounts in the lipsticks that
don't have gluten ingredients.

I was planning to ditch my Estee Lauder lipstick in favor of Clinique - but now
I don't see any advantage to do so.

Regards,
Laura
