I just noticed the summary regarding the lack of a support group in Long Beach, CA.
 
Celiac Disease Foundation has a group serving that area.  It's headed by Marian White, [log in to unmask], Mimi French (310) 372-1884 and Suzanne (562) 427-8676.
 
Why not contact one of them?
