I received a letter from Ansett some three onths ago advising me of this
policy change.

I have been waiting until I have to again fly with them (as one of the
Frequent Flyers) to Perth from Melbourne. I am debating when to wait to
point out to them the problems they will cause by presenting standard meals
even after advising of my GF requirements.

I know from some serious reactions lately that my tolerance is now such
that I will react within 2 hours to any gluten - let's see - Melb to Perth
is a four hour flight... hmmm!

Seriously though, I have been led to believe that Qantas may also be doing
the same but I haven't checked this out.

(I should have stated before - a *former* Ansett Frequent Flyer...)
