A friend wrote to me today and asked my advice.  She has been gluten free for 3 months and feels wonderful.  Now of course, she is wondering if she is gluten intolerant, has celiac disease or maybe even a wheat allergy.  Also, she has a son that she is concerned may develop celiac, if indeed that is what she has.  I don't believe in the "gluten challenge."  Can she be definitively tested for Celiac even though she is gluten free?

Thank you.
