Earl Ley, the facilitator of the Seattle Celiacs, a branch of GIG has chosen a special mission for a man his age. He is riding his bike from San Diego California to St. Augustine, Florida in 60 days, talking about celiac disease and the amazing effects of the gluten-free diet, all the way! What a Branch Manager!

Earl pulls 20 pounds of food each day. Unlike his fellow bikers, he can't partake of the community meals prepared by the other 13 riders, so he hauls his food and cooks for himself. The other riders are much younger, but all supportive of his efforts. Earl is determined. The ride is demanding and requires nearly 4000 calories each day just to maintain his weight. Let's show Earl we appreciate his efforts to Make Noise! Read his Blog, sign his guest book...and show him you are supportive of his efforts, donate now at http://www.gluten.net/followtheride.html .
