I have learned over the months that packaged gluten free foods are not as nutritionally balanced for us as regular foods. For example, I have noticed that gf food is not enriched very much. I have learned to have oatmeal in the a.m. and to add a little quinoa later in the day because those foods are quite enriched. However, always taking a dedicated look at caloric content of all foods and keeping a food diary, it is still quite difficult for me to lose weight. I have added green tea and more active exercise to my daily routine, and that does bump up the metabolism somewhat and after adding those things to my routine, I lost several pounds immediately. AND THEN, nothing. I look better, the body is slimmer and better toned for a lady my age, but I have a goal of losing 25 more pounds, and that goal is becoming more difficult to reach. I'll keep on with the active exercise, the diary and the green tea, but if anybody else has had this problem and has had a victory over it, please share.
