While looking for low-carb foods online, I discovered an online vendor (Low
Carb Outfitters) who carried many of the Walden Farms products. I wrote to
LCO to ask whether they were aware of gluten content of the products and got
in return the phone number for Walden Farms. I have since sent an e-mail to
LCO educating them (perhaps in vain) about how many people are interested in
gluten-free foods and that it would be good for their bottom line if they
were responsive to this issue. At any rate, I called Walden Farms and spoke
to a nice young man who volunteered to fax me a list of their products with
the gluten-free items hand-marked. When I suggested that there may be a
whole slew of folks interested in receiving this information by e-mail, he
said he would have someone type it up and e-mail it to me.

The following is what I received. I have not cross-checked the labels.
Those of you who have vinegar issues may wish to double check the labels. I
also did not discuss cross-contamination with them. If you wish to confirm
or request your own copy of the list (it came in a Microsoft Works file that
I copied to this e-mail), feel free to call Walden Farms at 1-800-229-1706.

By the way, I have been using WF dressings for quite a while for my own
weight-loss diet regimen (I am not celiac). They do take a little getting
used to, in my opinion, but I've become accustomed to them and rather enjoy
the tangy vinegar taste.

I've seen Walden Farms dressings (in the produce section) of many of my local
grocery stores (suburban Maryland) but have not found the barbeque sauces or
condiments. Walden Farms may be able to tell you where you can find them near
you on online (the dressings were considerably more expensive online -- more
than $1.00 per bottle higher).
