>>>I know that many on this list found their "chronic fatigue" cleared up
when they went on a GF diet, but it is possible that you might have both
CFIDS and CD. But I certainly hope not, for your sake!<<<

Just came across an interesting article in a magazine and thought I'd share
the noted similarities in symptoms between CD and CFS:
" It describes the definition of Chronic Fatigue by detailing the syndromes
common symptoms:
debilitating fatigue accompanied by joint & muscle pain, tender lymph nodes,
confusion, an inability to concentrate and sleep disturbances. Symptoms can
come on overnight or develop over a matter of months. Studies show that the
slow onset often follows a series of stressful events, such as death in the
family, marriage, divorce, etc. There is a theory that CFS starts with a
viral infection that then leaves the immune system chronically activated,
fighting on long after the invader has packed up and gone"........
----just thought it struck a familiar note and had noticed the above post on
improving CFS symptoms on a gf diet and was wondering if there is some
connection or perhaps just the connection of a weakened immune system.
