Hi Everyone,

I was interested in making the recipe below so decided to check out Lawry's
for myself. Below is the communication that I received from them earlier
this week.

They do not have a GF list and state that their formulas can change at any
time.
Please read the ingredients labels every time you purchase their products to
check for gluten.

Just thought I would share this info,

Have a great day.

gluten free status of products often for your own protection.

Hi Barbara,

Thank you for writing!

Our products are formulated for use by majority of consumers, and not
specifically for those on restricted diets, it is possible our product
formulations may change at any time. Since product formulations change from
time to time, we do not have a printed list of products that identifies
those products that contain specific allergens or gluten. The best advice we
can give you is to check the ingredient list on the label. Ingredients that
may contain any of the top eight allergens as defined by FDA (Peanuts, Tree
Nuts, Soy, Fish, Seafood, Wheat, Eggs, and Milk or Dairy, as well as any
ingredient that may contain Gluten are always listed on the label.
Therefore, we suggest reading all ingredient labels carefully. If you cannot
determine whether the product contains the ingredient in question, we
suggest that you don't use it.

We hope this helps!

Your friends at Lawry's

The gravy mixes are gf?! Woohoo! I used to make a dish that was sooo
simple and had to stop because I didn't know of any gf mixes. I am
definitely going to make it this week. In short, here it is:

Oven Baked Chicken or Pork Chops with Gravy

6 chicken breast halves or 1" thick pork chops (or however many you can fit
in pan)
2 packets gravy mix
2 cups water

Spray glass 13x9x2 baking dish. Place in meats. Sprinkle with gravy
packets. Slowly pour water over all. Cover with double aluminum foil.
Bake at 325F for 1-1/2 hours. YUM! (If you like you can brown meats
first, I'm just lazy and never do.) It's really good served with large
baked potatoes (since you're baking slow for a long time anyway, double
the oven use!)
