There was a message in our newspaper that says:  The celiac sprue
supportgroup starts at Bon Secours St.Francis Hospital tonight. It take
place tonight at 7 P.M. in Classroom 2 of the hospital,on Henry Tecklenburg
in West Ashley(next to Lowe's). For more information, call the Diabetes
and Nutrition center at St Francis 843-402-1099.

This so exciting to me as I have T-1 diabetes, DH and CD and I used to
drive 120 miles to Florence, SC as we are the only City this size in SC.

I had given up on ever seeing a group here.  I got no replies from this
area when I posted the grand opening of www.wholefoods.com and we have two
Earthfares that sell a lot of g/f food including Bards beer so there are
apparently other celiacs here. I will be anxious
to meet other people.
