Thanks to everyone who responded.  Following is the summary:

-    Maurizio's Italian restaurant in Glendale
    818/247-5600
    We went to this restaurant and it was very good.  They ask that you
    call the day before to confirm they have what you want to eat.  The
    pizza was great.

The following were recommended but I have not been, yet:
-    KooKooRoo on Hawthorne  (kids meal with butternut squash &
rotisserie chicken)
   -    El Burrito Jr in Torrance (by Albertson's)
-    In and Out
-    McDonalds
-    Outback Steakhouse (kid's steak, unseasoned with baked potato)
-    Whole Foods
