British term for what Americans call vanilla sandwich cookies, while
Bourbon Biscuits are chocolate sandwich cookies with chocolate creme
filling. They're named for the Bourbon Kings of France--sorry
grown-ups, they don't contain any of the famous distillate from
Bourbon County, Kentucky. Both varieties are wheat-free,
gluten-free, egg-free, and milk-free.
Bourbon Biscuits Ingredients: Corn starch, sugar,
hydrogenated vegetable fat, maltodextrin, soy flour,
pregelatinized tapioca starch, cocoa powder, molasses,
salt, raising agents: disodium dihydrogen diphosphate;
sodium bicarbonate, flavoring.
Custard Cremes Ingredients: Sugar, corn starch,
hydrogenated vegetable fat, soy flour, maltodextrin,
pregelatinized tapioca starch, salt, raising agent:
