Hi to the List,

Admittedly, I am a fast food fiend (yes I know its' not good for me but I
do it in moderation).

I am pretty sure, though not 100%, that when I started the gf diet about
two years ago, that the sweet and sour sauce, amongst other sauces at
McDonald's were gluten free. I am pretty sure I remember someone saying, "you can eat
the syrup, but you cannot eat the pancakes, and you can eat the sauces but you
cannot eat the chicken nuggets."

Anyway, I got my brand new CSA/USA gluten free product listing in the
mail today. I immediately went to the dining out section. Under McDonald's, it
did NOT list that the sweet and sour sauce was gf. This got me nervous. I called
the McDonald's corp. and Lo and Behold, the sweet and sour sauce contains
soy sauce(which contains wheat).

I was pretty certain that this sauce used to be gf. Does anyone know of
this for sure? Anyway, I feel upset knowing that for the past four or so months
I have been having this sauce on a weekly basis(I use it to dip the french
fries). I am asymptomatic/mildly symptomatic, so this is upsetting to me indeed.
Anyway, starting next week I'm heading back to Wendy's.

     Thanks,
