Hi all -

I've had an allergic reaction that resulted in two ER visits and now I'm in
the position of checking out some scripts. Normally my husband contacts
the manufacturers, but this being the weekend stops our normal routine.
Has anyone verified if Carafate Liquid, Tagament (or generic equivalent) or
Flovent inhalers are gluten free? This is an "I need to know for sure"
not "Well, I've taken it and I'm ok." as I am extremely sensitive to any
ingestion and the results are anaphalatic shock type responses.

Has anyone contacted these manufacturers recently? Or does anyone know of
gluten free equivalents.

The idea of a med data base would be a good one, especially in cases where
the manufacturers are closed.

I'm off to search the archives.

Thanks

deni
