A couple of weeks ago I wrote to ask whether there were food colouring
or additives that can effect celiacs.
I received several responses that can be summarised as:
        Food Colour #150 is OK
        Coke and Pepsi are GF
        Stay away from additives #1400-#1450 as these may contain wheaten
starch. (It does pay to check favourite foods, however, as when I rang
Edgells to ask about their Creamed Corn with thickening #1422 they said
it was GF as they used either maise or tapioca.
        Some flavour enhancers #620-#625 are suspect.
