I would like to apologize publicly to Mr. Ritts Bakery for the unintended
complaint about their carrot cake.

I'm horribly sorry that this quote came across negatively. I'd actually
written to the original poster intending to tell her that Mr. Ritts' cake
was fabulous and a wonderful treat after doing without carrot cake since my
diagnosis. My point was that if one is ordering the cake for oneself, then
it really doesn't matter what it looks like or what form it takes as long
as it tastes good. I didn't complain or ask for a refund from Mr. Ritts
because I was delighted with my purchase. Personally, I won't hesitate to
order from Mr. Ritts again in the future. In crumbs or intact, the cake
was fantastic!

Apologies,
Hillary Crane
