By letter dated 5/22/98 I received a list of GF products from Contadina,
stating:

"This information includes products which, to the best of our knowledge,
do not contain wheat, oats, rye, or barley/malt ingredients. The list may
not be complete subsequent to the date of issue due to formula changes
and new product introductions. Please read the product ingredient
statement for the most current information

Stewed Tomatoes (regular, Mexican style, Italian style)
   Pizza Squeeze (original, Italian)
   Pizza Sauce (original, Italian,pepperoni)
Pasta Ready - all except mushroom
Chunky Pizza Sauce (basic, mushroom, 3 cheese, red pepers)
   Whole Tomatoes
Tomato Sauce (regular, Italian, thick & zesty)
   Sweet & Sour Sauce
   Recipe Ready
   Tomato Paste
   Tomato Puree
   Crushed Tomatoes"

Hope this is helpful.

Now for two questions. I have read that toasters can be
gluten-contaminated and ought to be replaced. Has anyone had a
contamination experience with aluminum bakeware and the like? I'm
wondering whether I should toss all my stuff.

The celiac in our family is our 3 yr old adopted daughter who is a
blue-eyed blonde. Our pediatrician (who has only had 1 other celiac
patient) told us this is a common trait in celiacs. Has anyone ever heard
this before? Just curious.

We are please to report that she has gained almost 4 pounds in just over
1 month on the GF diet!!! The bad news is, she's getting pretty fiesty!

Becky in Indianapolis. GO PACERS!
