Walk-a-thon to raise funds for celiac research
Join us on the beautiful Stanford Campus where each step you take brings us
a step closer to a cure.

On this delightful 2 1/2 mile walk you will stroll through the historical
main quad and see the beautiful church, marvel at Hoover Tower, meander
through outdoor sculpture gardens and visit the (free) Museum all the while
enjoying the prized architecture and spring flowers on campus.  After the
walk, stay for the Stanford vs UCLA baseball game at 1:00 p.m. or drive
next door to the Stanford Shopping Center and enjoy the flower displays and
outdoor cafes.  Bring your bikes, Frisbees and picnic and enjoy Stanford's
beautiful outdoor spaces.

Proceeds to benefit the Celiac Sprue Research Foundation,
www.celiacsprue.org.  The money you raise will pay for research towards a
"pill" at the Foundation's Sunnyvale laboratory where the current research
is intended to lay the groundwork for the initiation of a proof of
principle trial of an enzyme therapy for the treatment of Celiac Sprue
during 2003.
