Dear List Mates,

Apparently, a little known fact is that gluten intolerance in Irish Setters happens in the breed.  My vet friend recently diagnosed a beautiful, 9 month old (but, very sick) Irish Setter with gluten intolerance.  She turned to me to help with finding gluten free dog food.

I searched the archives and found a list from 1999.  Does anyone have an updated list?  Or even just a brand name of dog food you are certain is GF.

Perhaps many of you are aware of issues of gluten intolerance in Irish Setters....I was completely surprised, and couldn't find any mentions in the archives.

Any help, fellow dog lovers?
