Our local support group puts out an EXCELLENT newsletter. In addition
to mailing to current members, it is sent to Gastroenterologists in this
state, and Dieticians. We offer our support for any newly diagnosed
Celiacs. We are lucky enough to have some Dieticians as members of the
group. Even with all this publicity, it is still difficult to trust
the food one receives in the hospital. You can always request to speak
with the Dietician to plan meals, but their basic knowledge generally
is that they're not familiar with all the particular specifics of the diet!
