I have been following the discussion about citric acid and it's origin
in wheat. I was taught along the way that it came from the juice of many
fruits, especially citrus. How then did the leap come from fruits to
wheat? I've been confused by the discussion and am hoping for some
enlightenment. Thanks. Susan
