Dear Listmembers:
I recently purchased a cookbook called "The Yeast-Connection
Cookbook" by a doctor whose name I forget, sorry (I don't own a computer, I
use my mother's for this so the book is at home). I read his book "The
Yeast Connection" about seven years ago and felt fairly sure that my health
problems at that time were yeast related. Now in reading his cookbook I
find that many of the symptoms I had when I first read it are gone, thanks
to the GF diet...but not all are. For those of you with continuing
digestive problems, as well as mood swings, difficult PMS, and trouble with
legumes (beans), you might want to check out systemic yeast infection as a
possible cause.
But besies that, the cookbook tells how to make CRACKERS! and has
many other (most are GF) good looking recipies. I haven't tried any yet -
I'll let you know. Also, he details how to do an elimination diet to
uncover food allergies. My family and I are going to do it - after christmas!
