Leucemia a.k.a. leukemia and leukaemia: diferent spellings different
parts of the world. I regret the confusion reported by several
subscribers.

I have since heard that there is also a very high incidence of diabetes
in the same family but, whereas this seems constant in the lineage, the
leucemia/leukemia jumps evey other generation. Nevertheless, acquired
(?) diabetes is abnormally high in the whole population of the Canaries,
apparently due to diet.

The messages are coming in and I will summarise them in due time.
