Has anyone ever tried to eat gluten free at Il Pizzico in Rockville, MD?  We have a group of friends who almost always eat out at Italian places without regard to whether I can eat, so we haven't gone out with them since I was diagnosed 2 1/2 years ago. (Occasionally my husband goes alone, if it's an occasion of some sort.)  This time my husband wants me to at least try to find out whether it's possible.  I will call the restaurant and I have looked at the menu, but I usually don't chance a place with no history of being gluten free friendly.

Any insight would be much appreciated.
