The following site <http://www.danasview.net/miralax.htm> describes negative
effects of Miralax on children (caused by absorption of Miralax). Has anyone
experienced any of this as an adult? I've been taking 1 dose of Miralax for
over 2 years but had to increase to 2-3 doses at the beginning of this year,
because of increasingly worse constipation. At the time I started the increased
dosage of Miralax, I was recently diagnosed with CD and had been on a GF diet
for only 6 months. I'm wondering if I'm not feeling better because of the
Miralax. Any success stories taking other laxatives? I'm taking MSContin for chronic
pain so eating a few prunes is not gong to do it. Steve
