We have grown vegetable spaghetti, aka spaghetti marrow, for several years
and we like it. Unfortunately this year's crop failed, and we were
disappointed not to have any this year.

I usually boil it for about 30-40 minutes, cut in half, discard seeds in
centre, and scrape the flesh away with a fork and it shreds into strands.
Next year I shall try baking it in the oven as others have suggested.
I am sure my husband, who is a newly diagnosed coeliac, will look forward to
growing them next year and cooking them a different way.

BTW - he looks forward to my daily report of news from celiacs around the
world, and has been encouraged by the advice that is shared.
