My doctor calls these "dietary indiscretions." He prescribed donnatol
(which is phenobarbitol + belladonna) for those. I had a bad experience
where someone told me the wrong ingredients and I had something with a
bunch of gluten (was supposed to be *corn*, darn it) and was in *agony*
by the time I got home. I took 1/2 a tablet (given the ingredients, I
haven't had the courage to take a whole one) and was fine about an hour
later. Oh, I mean I *felt* fine, though undoubtedly the vile proteins
wreaked havoc on my intestines.

I have been known to take them when I absolutely *must* have fried pork
dumplings (which I make GF, but I have problems with soy, so it's still
an awful experience, but I just love them).

Other than that, I've only been GF for six weeks and am still making
"accidents of habit" (e.g. not thinking about whether or not something is
GF and eating it by mistake).
