I've always avoided hair products with hydrolized wheat protein, but
just bought something I really like and discovered it has hydrolized
wheat protein. I've checked the archives, and only find a single
reference to someone with DH not using shampoo\conditioner with
hydrolized protein as it caused outbreaks on ears, etc. For those
with celiac only, not DH, should we also not use external products
with hydrolized wheat protein on our hair -- particularly if the hair
touches skin? What is the symptom if you do react to the external
product -- itching?
