This may sound silly but it works. I have been using the rings for the wide mouth mason jars to make buns. I know others who use the tins of tuna...with the bottom and top cut off...but it's too small for my liking. I used the quick bread ( a non yeast baking soda mix) to make them with great success and today tried the yeast bread and they are perfect! I spray pam on a cookie sheet and then the insides of the rings. Then the rings go on the cookie sheet...I then mix as per recipe in my Kitchen aid beater ..and then the dough goes in the rings...I used Celimix rice bread mix today and used the recipe on the back of the package. Cool them a bit then take them out of the rings and cool on a rack. They are the perfect size for hamberger buns. I am eating one now warm with strawberry jam! They travel better which is why I have been doing this...and easier to take to work etc.
