It turns out, I probably did not have a reaction to the hyaluronic acid. 
I apparently just coincidentally got sick at the time I'd expect a food
reaction to come on.

It turned out after a few days that I had apparently just gotten sick from
my inhalant allergies.

I didn't really get sick the first time anyway, so it would have been
a novel kind of reaction for me to get sick the second time.

So it's reassuring to know, I guess, that super-hyper trace amounts don't
affect me, so far as I know - traces, but not very very tiny traces of
gluten or corn ...
