I went to the dentist yesterday and asked the dental assistant if amalgam
or the compound used to polish teeth contain gluten. The dental
assistant, who is a celiac herself, said that all the compounds they use
are gluten-free. She indicated there would be no point in adding a gluten
filler to any of these products.

Just thought I'd add my 2 cents worth from the Canadian perspective.
