One year ago I became extremely ill with diarrhea 20 to 30 times a day.  I
truly thought I had food poisoning or cyclospora.  After many tests and a
loss of 20 some pounds in about 4 weeks, I had a small bowel biopsy which
confirmed that I had celiac disease.  Until this time I thought I was a
healthy 62 year old.

Since my diagnosis I have followed a strict gluten free diet (except for a
few mistakes due to lack of knowledge).  After all these months I still have
fat in my stool but my weight is stable. A few months ago I had a liver
biopsy - the result was chronic hepatitis.

I was wondering if anyone else has any of these problems?

Also, I have pain on the left side of my lower back and I feel as though I'm
exhausted most of the time.

I can't tell you how much better I feel after telling you all of my ailments!!!
