First of all my son is going to attend college this January in Edmonton,
Alberta Canada and we are wondering if someone out there could send us a
list of GF friendly restaurants and stores to buy gf foods.
Secondly, after snacking on roasted nuts, smoked nuts and sugared nuts as
well as white fudge made with marshmallow creme and white chocolate my
celiac husband became violently ill about 2 - 3 hours later. He woke up in
a sweat, had diareah went back to bed and became ill again and practically
had to crawl to the bathroom where he had violent vomitting. He then slept
through the night and didn't eat the next day but could go to work. He
thought it was food poisoning, but we all ate the same thing that day and
evening and none us us became sick. I thought maybe the sugared nuts had
gluten and it was a reaction. What do you think? Anyone have a similar
reaction to gluten?
Thanks.
