Hello everyone. Today I phoned the makers of KC Masterpiece Original to ask
about the vinegar they use. They use a white distilled vinegar. The man on
the phone said he thought it was distilled from wood, yes he said wood. When
I asked if he could verify this information or provide with more detail on
the vinegar, he told me *no*. That information is proprietary, and they
cannot give it out. Being sensitive to white distilled vinegars, (which may
or may not contain gluten grains as added ingredients) I am planning on
avoiding this product.

Does anyone know of a barbeque sauce that uses wine vinegar or apple cider
vinegar rather than white distilled vinegar? Or does anyone have a recipe
for making homemade sauce?
