Thanks to all of your for your replies re my latest case of the
"sprues".  Consensus is that although Hunt's states their tomato sauce
is gf, many people report problems.  Contadina must have changed their
Alfredo sauce recipe without changing the label.  The label has now
changed and the wheat is on the label.  Minute Rice was also implicated
-- not the rice itself, but perhaps the processing, enriching, or
packaging.  It appears all three go on the no-no list.  Thanks for the
