Other recommendations are: Flonase (along with shots); Advil Allergy Sinus; Singulaire; Astelin nasal spray; "tons of Vitamin C"; OTC Actifed; Tavist; rubbing Vitamin E around the eyes due to wind-blown particles; Bromfed; Alavert (the dissolving tab)

Finally, someone suggested spraying nine times in each nostril with a saline nasal spray when coming in from outside; follow this with a gargle of 1/2 teaspoon sea salt in 8 oz warm water; do this every fifteen minutes for two hours; then spread it out to every hour, as needed; when you've reached the hour or two interval, keep something in your mouth, such as Riccola yellow coughdrops; also, two homeopathic remedies are recommended -- if the discharge is clear, take 2 Aresenicum Alb 30c every two hours; if discharge is yellowish or greenish, Pulsatilla 30c.
