We should not be so quick to judge Joseph Calleja, nor just HOW SERIOUS
celiac's disease can be.

By the time my Celiac's was diagnosed, my own immune system was
attacking my internal organs. I have probably permanent damage to my
heart, liver and pancreas. In addition I developed a secondary immune
system disease, causing EXTREMELY PAINFUL inflammation of my joints and
muscles.

Just because Joseph Calleja was a musician, we do not actually know what
his lifestyle was. We do not know what damage was done to his body as a
child by undiagnosed celiac's. It was severe enough to sadly stop him
from growing to his full height, and I'm speculating that that is not
the only damage that was done.

Regardless of how people may feel about rock musicians, Joseph Calleja
was a high profile person. Maybe his tragic early death can help other
children get diagnosed before the suffer serious health problems.

I've already written news agencies asking they do a story about Joseph
Calleja and childhood celiac's. Maybe others could do the same and try
to get the media's attention.

Here are the sites and emails addresses of the news agencies I wrote to:
