I want to thank everyone who replied to my letter regarding other symptoms I
have been experiencing. I live in a very small town, so it is hard to find
anyone who has even heard about Celiac. Your responses help ease the
loneliness. Thank you.

To recap, I asked about symptoms I have been experiencing when too long of a
time passes between meals (or snacks). Some of my symptoms were shaking,
dizziness, nauseau, inability to concentrate, ect. About 90% of the
responses all suggested hypoglycemia. Some said it could be a pre-diabetis
problem. Some said it could be a thyroid problem. All said I needed a blood
test. I did some research and looked up all of the conditions that were
suggested. I found I have the exact symptoms of hypoglycemia.

I am scheduled for a glucose test for Monday a.m. I have to fast from dinner
time Sunday until I have the test monday am. After this test, I have an
appointment with an Internal Medicine doctor on Thursday. For those of you
who said you experienced similar problems and wanted to know what happens, I
will post the results of my doctors appointment next weekend.

I think I was hesitant about going to a doctor for anything else wrong,
because of my experience last year. It was terrifying. The thought of
another life altering diagnosis frightens me completely. It is comforting
to know that I have this group; that there are others who are going through
the same thing. Thanks again, Kit
