The following information refers to products distributed and sold in
the United States.
 
We received a list of gluten-free (GF) products from New Morn, Inc,
in a letter dated June 26, 1995.  The letter states that their
natural flavorings are GF.  Also, their pickles are made with lemon
juice instead of vinegar.  The letter is signed by Edna S. Aronson,
Customer Relations.
 
The New Morn pickles are packaged under the brand name "Pickle Eaters".
The following "Pickle Eaters" products are listed as GF:
   Baby Dills
   Chips with Honey--no salt
   Kosher Dills
   Kosher Dills--no salt
   Kosher Spears
 
They also list these pickled products as GF under the brand name
"Zorba":
   Giardiniera Mixed Vegetables
   Pepperoncini Pickled Peppers

We also know of one other GF pickle:  Mrs. Fanning's Bread 'n Butter
Pickles.  These are produced by GFA Brands, Inc.  This information
was sent to us in a letter dated June 20, 1995 and signed by Peter L.
Dray, VP of Mfg. & Tech. Services.  In a follow-up phone call, we
were told that the vinegar they use is made from corn.
